This is the best line of last night. It is from GOP Cong. Liz Cheney:
“I say this to my Republican colleagues who are defending the indefensible: There will come a day when Donald Trump is gone, but your dishonor will remain.”
I love it and it is true.
I have to hand it to the leadership of the January 6 Committee. It was an excellent prime time TV presentation. It was tight and well-choreographed. It wasn’t one of these monotonous endless hearings where we hear the same old redundant questions. They certainly knew what they were doing. Good job.
To those GOPers who are dismissing the January 6 Committee efforts, you just can’t dismiss the facts and the truth. Like Cong. Cheney said, “defending the indefensible.”

“Today” did a piece this morning on this being Judy Garland’s 100th birthday. She was one of the greatest performers and entertainers.
“The Wizard of Oz” is my third best movie ever, behind, “Godfather” and “Godfather II.” Every time it is on, I watch it. I even have Oz books and paraphernalia.
“Over the Rainbow” tops the list on numerous best songs ever tune listings.
Name a better song.

Judy Garland was awarded a special Oscar for her Dorothy role.
She was also nominated for Best Actress in 1954 for “A Star is Born.” She was also nominated for Best Supporting Actress in 1961 for “Judgement at Nuremberg” for a riveting performance. That is the photo I am using today.
My favorite Judy Garland Christmas tune is “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” from 1944’s “Meet Me in St. Louis.”

The PGA suspended 17 LIV Golf a-holes. Good. Now let’s see what the majors do. I still won’t be watching next week’s U.S. Open.
This is what one of the a-holes, Graeme McDowell, said yesterday:
“If Saudi Arabia want to use the game of golf as a way for them to get to where they want to be, and they have the resources to accelerate that experience, I think we’re proud to help them on that journey.”
Tone deaf is too kind. Greed, stupidity, and ignorance is more fitting.
