MAGA Word

If you ask Commentary to put a list together of TV journalists I trust the most, NBC’s Pete Williams is up there at the top. He covered the U.S. Supreme Court and the Department of Justice.  He is retiring. Today is his last day with NBC News.

They were doing a highlight reel of his time at NBC, this morning on “Today.” We were reminded of that hectic day a few years ago when the Supreme Court handed down their ruling on Obamacare and Pete Williams was the only one who got the interpretation right initially.

He will for sure be missed.

Nope.  The Mothers Against Greg Abbott leadership should let the Chron know that they don’t want to be associated with the MAGA bad word.

We all know Donald Trump is the greatest grifter of all time. Add him to the list of jerks taking the Saudi LIV golf money.

To all those who worked for Donald Trump during the 2017 to 2021 years and now are caught up with the January 6 Committee hearings, if you didn’t know that Trump was a lying crook before you went to work for him, you weren’t paying attention.

In 2016 and 2016, he was called out by many GOP leaders including Mitt Romney, Jeb Bush, Carly Fiorina, and Cancun Cruz. Just to name a few.

The MLB trading deadline is next Tuesday. I hope the Astros make a move or two or three. Our offense needs improvement for sure.
