Members of the A&M board of regents got involved. The former A&M president lied. Dummies for sure.
A&M Chancellor John Sharp put out a statement and here is a part:
Regarding the events in Dr. (Kathleen) McElroy’s hiring process, it is difficult to recognize the alma mater I dearly love and to which I owe so much. Texas A&M is far better than this!
A few, however, forgot our Core Values.
It is time to come together, put our house back in order, and vow to never let this happen again. We all must rededicate ourselves to the Aggie values that define us and bind us.

Looks like Chancellor Sharp forgot to list those values.

Bad Aggies. The crook Ken Paxton was in a Harris County courtroom yesterday dealing with criminal charges. Donald Trump plead not guilty to more felony charges. That is today’s GOP, folks.

Meanwhile, Jen Rice of the Chron is covering the local trial where the GOP is trying to overturn the 2022 Harris County elections and here is what she tweeted yesterday:
the harris county GOP has flagged thousands of votes alleging they were illegal. their data analyst is on the witness stand & the defense has gone through dozens of the records 1 by 1 on screen, asking him why they’re flagged & the analyst is admitting they shouldn’t have been.
What a sad joke.
