I have to hand it to the GOP. They have the dumbest folks in congressional positions. Commentary is talking about the GOP folks who want Donald Trump to be the next U.S. House Speaker.
Let’s see. Trump is currently in a civil trial in New York. He is under criminal indictment in Atlanta, Florida, New York City, and Washington D.C. He is scheduled to be on trial for all of next year.

On a related note, some in the GOP want Americans to know that Democrats put the knife into former U.S. House Speaker Kevin McCarthy.
Last I heard, Cong. Matt Gaetz is the one who is running the victory laps and spiking the football in the endzone on the McCarthy ouster. Gaetz is a GOPer.

The Twins won yesterday and advanced to the ALDS to play against the ‘Stros.
