Gunboy

Commentary was watching the news coverage of the school shooting yesterday. One of the national security experts mentioned that if his info was confirmed, the age of the shooter would surprise us.

See the featured photo.

Thanks to the GOP, the GOP policy on gun safety has brought us a 14-year-old mass shooter. Thanks to the GOP, the GOP policy on gun safety has brought us a 14-year-old mass shooter with an AR-15.

I heard on the news today that the shooter was referred to as the gunman. I can’t get myself to call a 14-year-old a gunman. It should be gunboy.

There is no such word as gunboy. Maybe now there should be.

Come on, GOP! You are better than that.

Get used to it folks. The GOP is killing us.

Keep on, keep on. See this from NBC News:

WASHINGTON — Former Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., on Wednesday endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for president, the latest high-profile Republican endorsement for Democrats.

Cheney’s comments took place during an appearance at Duke University’s Sanford School of Public Policy.

“Because of the danger that Donald Trump poses, not only am I not voting for Donald Trump, but I will be voting for Kamala Harris,” Cheney said in a video of remarks posted to X.

The former congresswoman said in her remarks that it is “crucially important” for people to understand that people do not have “the luxury of writing in candidates’ names, particularly in swing states.”

We need more of these.

The presidential debate is in five days. Election Day is two months from today.

Think about that.

A few days ago, Astros starting pitcher Spencer Arrighetti was named AL Rookie of the Month for August. Last night, Spencer didn’t even last an inning and gave up nine runs – all earned. Oh, well.

Our lead is down to 5 ½ games as we lost last night and wrap up the roadie this afternoon in Cincy.
