Aftermath
I was on the road yesterday. See the featured photo. Mostly listening to the Christmas tunes. Occasionally, I would tune into MSNBC. I didn’t get to see Vice President Kamala Harris concede. I just saw excerpts last night.
On a related note, candidates – winner and losers – need to pick up their signs in the aftermath. It irks me when they don’t.

See this from the Chron:
Exit polling by The Washington Post indicates that 55% of Latino voters in Texas, who make up about a third of the state’s electorate, voted for Trump in this election — a 14-point swing from the 41% who voted for him in 2020. And though Vice President Kamala Harris won a slim majority of Latino voters across the country, her eight-point lead amongst Latinos nationwide is a double-digit drop from Biden’s in 2020.
Here is the entire read: How Trump and Republicans won big with Latino Texans.
Interesting to say the least.
On a statewide level, it is obvious that the chair of the Texas Democratic Party needs to resign, like yesterday. He has been there 12 years. Hang it up, please.

The Chron today has a couple of articles on what happened here locally. Some countywide Democrats won, and some didn’t. Some countywide Republicans won, and some didn’t. Former GOP Harris County Commissioner Steve Radack ran for Tax Assessor Collector and spent a ton of dough on TV and Chron ads came up short. Go figure.

Let the sh_tshow begin. Donald Trump will soon begin naming folks who will certainly make every effort to screw things up in America. Don’t forget. The Supreme Court gave Trump an endless stack of free get out of jail cards.
Stay tuned.
