Christmas Eve is one week from today. I am getting ready. It is too warm though.

I said this on Friday:

My subscription just went up to $109 and again, no heads up from the Chron.

The Chron sent me a letter yesterday saying I would be paying $27.25 per week for my Chron to be delivered every day to my house. That is $109 every four weeks. Got it.

The wards, not the awards. I am talking about the ward system in H-Town that we got rid of a long time ago. The Chron has a story posted on December 10, 2024, on the ward system and here is the headline:

I wonder how many folks in H-Town today can identify where the six wards are on an H-Town map. First Ward is the one nearest me. Third Ward is the farthest.

I think I got them all.  The Bearkats start things off on Thursday evening.

I saw this online this morning on Alex Bregman:

MLB Network’s Jon Morosi identified the Boston Red Sox on Monday as the primary competitor with Houston for the two-time All-Star and two-time champion.
