Yesterday’s experience at Daikin Park has to be a four-star thing.

First and foremost, we won the game as closer Josh Hader struck out Juan Soto to end the game. Nice.

The game was just 2 hours and 45 minutes long.

Cam Smith got a base hit on the first pitch he saw as a major leaguer.

Jose Altuve snagged some fly balls in left field.

The team didn’t commit any errors.

The Phillips 66 Bring the Go train on top of the left field wall in the featured photo was unveiled.

Framber Valdez pitched a good game.

I had a great time with my nephew David.

I ran into my friend Janette Garza Lindner at the game, and we rode the Red Line together to get back home.

I had Saint Arnold, peanuts, and a hot dog at the game.

The Saint Arnold kiosk is now just a section away from my seats.

I was smart enough to take an umbrella and didn’t get soaked by the rain like thousands of other fans.

I wore my Mexican theme Astros shirt.

I got my schedule magnet.

It was a good day for sure.

New Astros first baseman Christian Walker is 34 today. Christian got a base hit last night. Happy Birthday, Christian!
