MAGA Stooges

The fella in the featured photo wielding the gavel represents the current crop of MAGA stooges running the Texas state government. Let’s see, the MAGA stooges sent DPS troopers to the border for years and it turned out to be an economic stimulus for border communities. They sent DPS troopers to sit outside of a classroom in Uvalde three years ago. Now they have DPS troopers escorting Texas State House Democrats for doing their duty. One African American Texas state representative has refused the DPS escorts and the MAGA stooge in featured photo who is also the Texas House Speaker won’t let her leave the Texas House Floor. Classy move.

I will say the DPS was efficient in renewing my driver license.

Donald Trump wants to eliminate voting by mail. Trump has demonized voting by mail among MAGA voters. I wonder if our arsehole governor will add it to the call of the second called special session. I have been voting by mail since I turned 65. It is very convenient, and it also allows me to carefully review the candidates in a lengthy ballot in the Harris County Democratic Party Primary. In Harris County, Democrats outvote MAGA by three to one in the mail ballot category. Over 63,000 voted by mail in Harris County in November of 2024. Why would the arsehole governor want to inconvenience 63,000 of us. Stay tuned.
