Everyone knows MAGA worships Donald Trump. Trump tells MAGA to kneel before him and bow their heads and they comply. This includes governors, U.S. Senators, members of the U.S. House of Representatives, MAGA media members, and billionaire donors.

President Donald Trump was handed a golden opportunity to unite the American people in the wake of right-wing activist Charlie Kirk’s death — and he rejected it with four words, deepening the political divide plaguing the country.
Asked Friday on “Fox & Friends” how Americans can “come back together” to “fix this country” after the fatal shooting in Utah on Wednesday that conservatives have blamed on Democrats and the media, Trump appeared wholly disinterested in any semblance of reconciliation.
“I’ll tell you something that’s going to get me in trouble, but I couldn’t care less,” he said.
MAGA will listen to Trump’s words. So, don’t waste your time out there looking for an olive branch or a kumbaya moment. Don’t take seriously what Utah Gov. Spencer Cox said on Friday about choosing a different path. Trump is going to lay out the path for MAGA to follow.

The Emmys didn’t have a tribute to Charlie Kirk last night and didn’t mention his passing. Some MAGA folks aren’t happy about Kirk being shunned. Excuse me while I scratch my head. MAGA despises Hollywood. Oh, well.

The best line from last night’s Emmys was host Matt Bargatze referring to CBS as the Caucasian Broadcast System. The Emmys were carried on CBS. Too funny. That is all you need to know.

The Texans will play their home opener this evening at NRG. Country music artist Clay Walker will sing the National Anthem. Walker probably holds the record for most National Anthems sung at H-Town professional sporting events.

The Astros are in second place in the AL West and have no one to blame but themselves. Framber Valdez has not been on his game. We have 12 games left to play. We start our final homie this evening against the Rangers in the featured photo. We have close to a dozen players with World Series rings who are healthy and will be in uniform today. They need to step up, lead, and get their team to the postseason.
