Nice Neighborhood
To those in the media. Do not ever say ICE is a law enforcement agency. IT IS NOT. PERIOD. It is a gang of lawless thugs. PERIOD.
On a related note, on last Sunday’s “What’s Your Point,” the Texas Breitbart fella lamely tried to explain that ICE thugs wear face coverings to protect their families from personal attacks. NOPE. That’s laughable. ICE thugs wear masks because they are punkarse cowards. We all know that.

I live in a nice neighborhood. We don’t have a dilapidated building problem in my neighborhood. The H-Town City Council voted yesterday to spend $30 million from the stormwater fund to demolish dilapidated buildings. The vote was 9 – 7 to spend the dough. I get why some folks have a problem with this. I also get why you must find the money to demolish these dangerous structures.

Same old, same old tired story about what to do about the Astrodome. See this from the Chron:
The fate of the Astrodome — a beloved Houston landmark that’s sat largely unused for more than 20 years — could soon be decided.
Commissioners are expected to discuss options for the 1 million square-foot building at Thursday’s meeting. The move came after the Office of County Administration released December cost estimates for demolishing the building and renovating it. Demolition would cost nearly $55 million, according to OCA, while renovating the Astrodome would require a staggering $752 million.
Interim County Administrator Jesse Dickerman said in a Dec. 19 release that renovating the Astrodome would not be feasible without outside investment.
“These cost estimates illustrate that it will not be financially feasible for Harris County to renovate the Astrodome without significant private investment,” Dickerman said.
Commissioners aren’t expected to make a decision Thursday, but a spokesperson for Commissioner Tom Ramsey, who added the item to the agenda, said officials will discuss OCA’s estimates and potential options moving forward.
Here is the entire Chron read: The fate of Houston’s Astrodome could be decided soon.
Commentary has said it before. Where there is a will, there is a way. There ain’t no will, there ain’t no way.
Nothing is going to happen today or tomorrow or anytime soon. Don’t waste your time trying to stay tuned.

I really didn’t need to post the featured photo to let folks know that Alex Mealer is all in on MAGA. You can’t go to the MAGA ball unless you are all in. Mealer started running ads, as in the featured photo, this morning on KPRC Channel 2. Mealer is running in the MAGA primary for congress in the 9th congressional district.
The font on the ad says she’ll fight for Trump. Fu_k the people of CD 9.
