When I heard the news Saturday night about the shooting at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, I was not surprised. That’s the America we live in. Gun culture and hate go hand in hand. They are made for each other.

On “What’s Your Point” yesterday the Urban Reform fella made a big play to shred any cred he thinks he has. On the question of the mid-decade redistricting, moderator Greg Groogan and the Texas Breitbart fella both said the redistricting war that was started by Donald Trump and MAGA in Texas last year had backfired. The Urban Reform fella had a knucklehead counter and said that the redistricting war was initiated when the Democrats on the Harris County Commissioners Court redrew the lines that allowed Lesley Briones to knock off Commissioner Jack Cagle in 2022. What a knucklehead.

Commentary is an uncle again. My niece Cristina and her hubby Alex welcomed Alicia Saturday morning. She is a cutie according to the pictures they have been sending me. Cool.

I was at Daikin Park this weekend. See the ride in the featured photo. There sure were a lot of Yankees fans at the games. We won yesterday and avoided getting swept.
