Feeling It

I am feeling it today. I think we are getting there. I think voters across the country have had enough of Donald Trump and the MAGA BS. Same here in Texas for MAGA Gov. Greg Abbott, Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick, and their BS. I don’t see any metric or data to support these arseholes. Of course, these arseholes are saying the data and metrics are wrong. We will certainly find out this evening.

I want to congratulate State Reps. James Talarico and Gina Hinojosa on conducting outstanding campaigns.

The Astros announced this yesterday:

A new era of Astros baseball began Friday as the club announced the hiring of Randy Flores as its new general manager.

Flores, 51, joins the Astros from the St. Louis Cardinals, where he most recently served as Assistant General Manager of Amateur and Pro Acquisition. He spent eight seasons as an Assistant GM with the Cardinals (2019-26) after joining the organization’s front office as Director of Scouting in 2015.

“Randy is a perfect fit,” Astros Owner and Chairman Jim Crane said during Monday’s introductory press conference. “He has experience in every area of baseball. You don’t find that often.”

“I am excited and grateful for this incredible opportunity,” Flores said. “The Astros have built a long tradition of success under Jim Crane, and I look forward to helping continue that success. I want to thank the Cardinals organization for the opportunities and support that made this next chapter possible. My family and I are excited to make Houston our home.”

Please join us in welcoming Randy “Flo” Flores to Houston!

Flores is a Mexican American, just like me. I am glad he will be part of the process of selecting the new manager.
