A funeral mass will occur at 10:30 AM, Monday, February 27, 2023, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 1907 Carolina Ave, Baytown, TX 77520. Committal service will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023.

Today is National Tortilla Chip Day. Go on out an buy a couple of Siete Food bags of chips and celebrate.
Speaking of, the Siete family will be in town this weekend to attend their Dad’s/Grandpa’s funeral services on Sunday and Monday.
There were a few occasions at the doctor’s office or hospital where my Dad would ask the nurses and staff if they had tried Siete chips. To those that didn’t know what he was talking about, I would explain what Siete chips were. To those that knew about Siete products, they would look at my Dad like he was some sort of nut. I would also explain to them about Siete. On a couple of occasions, I wrote down their names and addresses and had my sister send them a sampling of Siete Food products.
Commentary’s preferred Siete tortilla chip is the Dip Chip.

The City of H-Town is recommending that Pappas Restaurants get replaced as the chief concession vendor at Hobby Airport. Pappas has had the Hobby gig since 2002 and is fighting to hold on to its contract.
Commentary doesn’t care who gets to sell stuff at Hobby. I can’t remember the last time I flew out of Hobby.
Pappas has hired a city hall lobbyist and is putting out info questioning the bidding process. The Mayor’s Office says Pappas is conducting a “smear campaign.” All that tells me is Pappas is making progress. Stay tuned for sure.
