Local Telemundo will air the Texans and Browns game this Saturday afternoon in Spanish. Telemundo got one Wild Card round game and it happened to be the one that is being played at NRG. Check your local listings and check it out.

The Chron E-Board has a sort of tongue-in-cheek take on how to dress, look, and talk when you go to a border town to for a photo op on migrants coming to the USA for a better life. Here is a sample:
Don clothing that makes you look Ford Tough or Ram Tough, whichever make of pickup appeals to your sense of style. That means jeans, of course (see South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem for reference); some sort of boots (cowboy, combat or hiking; no DeSantis-style white knee-highs); a western-style shirt and maybe a hunting jacket; and your la frontera ensemble topped off with a camo-style gimme cap. If you’re able, we suggest growing a Ted Cruz-style grizzled beard before making the trip.
If given a choice, pick a border town that features a bluff or promontory overlooking the Rio Grande; the backdrop aesthetics are better. Eagle Pass is good; so is Roma, the picturesque, little town where a young Marlon Brando starred in “Viva Zapata!”

I did not know that “Viva Zapata!” was filmed in Roma, Texas which is in Starr County. “Viva Zapata!” was nominated for five Academy Awards including best actor for Brando for playing Emiliano Zapata. It only won for Best Supporting Actor for Anthony Quinn who played Eufemio Zapata, Emiliano’s brother. Now you know.

I watched the Golden Globes Sunday night. You guessed it. I had never heard of a bunch of the nominated shows.
On of Commentary’s favorites was up for a Golden Globe Sunday night. I am talking about Oscar and Emmy winning actress Brie Larson. She won an Oscar for “Room” and she plays a superhero as “Captain Marvel.” My favorite Brie Larson flick is “Kong: Skull Island.” She was up for an acting Golden Globe for her role in “Lessons in Chemistry.” There is clip of Brie on the red-carpet Sunday night where she is gushing upon seeing and meeting J-Lo. It’s cute and must-see TV.
