This is what MAGA is about. I wonder if the punkarse Texas House Speaker has stepped forward to call out this racial crap and stand by his colleague.

I saw this on the ABC Channel 13 News website today:

The redistricting battle in Texas continues to escalate as Republican Gov. Greg Abbott claimed he had heard the FBI will search for Texas House Democrats who left the state in protest of proposed new congressional maps.

In an appearance on Wednesday on conservative radio host Dana Loesch’s online show, Abbott said, “Those who are out of state think that they are beyond the reach of Texas law enforcement, and they may or may not be. But for one, when they come back, they’re not going to go to their cozy home; they will be arrested and taken to the Capitol.”

“But know this,” Abbott continued, “It’s my understanding that the FBI is going to search for these derelict Texas House members, in whatever state they may be in, and help identify them and maybe work with us to bring them back.”

It is not accidental that in the featured photo is Alicia Silverstone as Cher in “Clueless” being interviewed this morning on “Today.” Someone needs to tell the Texas governor that the FBI doesn’t have to do much of a search since Texas State House Democrats are holding press conferences and doing interviews across the country. The legislators are not hiding out at some undisclosed location. Commentary said yesterday that Abbott is losing it. He is also clueless. What do you expect from a fella who continuously talks down to his constituents.

Along the same clueless lines, see this from The Hill on Jubilation T. Cornpone:

Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) says FBI Director Kash Patel has approved his request to help state and local law enforcement locate Texas Democrats who have fled the Lone Star State in hopes of stalling a partisan redistricting effort.

“I am proud to announce that Director Kash Patel has approved my request for the FBI to assist state and local law enforcement in locating runaway Texas House Democrats,” Cornyn said in a statement Thursday morning.

“I thank President Trump and Director Patel for supporting and swiftly acting on my call for thr federal government to hold these supposed lawmakers accountable for fleeing Texas,” Cornyn said.

Cornyn posted on the social platform X earlier Thursday that Patel had “responded to my request to assist state & local law enforcement locate the runaway Texas House Democrats and investigate potential offenses.”

I wonder how much of their sleuthing skills the FBI will have to utilize to locate the Texas State House Democrats. Again, Jubilation T. Cornpone thinks there is value in dumbing down with his voters. Sad.
