The media is now reporting that Border Patrol bonehead Greg Bovino has been ordered to leave Minneapolis.

Gov. Greg Abbott on Monday said the White House needs to “recalibrate” Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s mission to rebuild public trust after immigration agents shot and killed a second protester in Minnesota over the weekend.

Then the City of H-Town tweeted this yesterday:
The City of Houston is aware of reports of ICE sightings at some of our 12 warming centers. This is false information spreading in the community.
At first glance, I thought it was weather related, like an ice accumulation thing. Then I took a second look. Oh, well.

From the Harris County Clerk’s office yesterday evening:
(Houston, TX) –Due to severe weather that forced the closure of polling locations, a court has ordered additional early voting opportunities to ensure eligible voters have access to the ballot ahead of Election Day, Saturday, January 31.
“The safety of voters, election workers, and staff was my top priority, and I am thankful conditions have improved so that we may resume voting operations,” said Clerk Teneshia Hudspeth.“Only voters registered in Congressional District 18 can participate in this election.”
Early voting will resume tomorrow, Tuesday, January 27, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and will be extended on Wednesday and Thursday at all 17 Harris County vote centers.
Additional Early Voting Dates and Hours:
Wednesday, January 28, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Thursday, January 29, noon to 7 p.m.
The court-ordered extension of early voting requires ballots cast on Wednesday, January 28, and Thursday, January 29, be cast provisionally and segregated in accordance with section 302(c) of the Help America Vote Act (HAVA) of 2002.

“Today” is celebrating 30 years of Al Roker this morning. See the featured photo called “Aliversary.” Al is one of a kind and has established himself as a legend in TV history. “Today” put out a bunch of stats on Al this morning including 61 cameos in movies or TV shows. “Today” put on a great tribute to Al. It was very entertaining.

Jose Altuve won’t be playing in the World Baseball Classic (WBC). I am good with that. He got dinged up in the last WBC and missed a bunch of games.
