The Chron put out an “Extra” edition front page hard copy of Donald Trump’s speech last night. I am glad it didn’t come with my newspaper this morning. A total waste of paper by the Chron. From what I have heard, it was a nothing speech. The Chron whiffed on this extra for sure.

This is how Section 1 of the Fourteenth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution begins:
All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside.
It is clear to me. If Donald Trump and MAGA doesn’t like it, go through the process of amending the constitution. Yes, there is a process to amend the constitution. Go make your case to America and start the amending process. Lazy, arseholes.

Speaking of amendments of the U.S. Constitution, see this from the Chron:
There is no way federal immigration agents are going to take off their masks, White House border czar Tom Homan said during a stop in Texas.
While Democrats on Capitol Hill have made that one of their demands to reform the way Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers do their job, Homan flat-out rejected the idea during a speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Grapevine over the weekend.
“That’s a nonstarter,” Homan said. “Until you stop your language, we’re not taking the masks off.”
Democrats say ICE agents should be held to the same standards as local and state police officers, who have to identify themselves and rarely cover their faces. But Homan said the rhetoric aimed at ICE agents has put their lives in danger. Agents and their families are being threatened and have been subjected to online doxxing.
Homan has previously said he doesn’t like the masks either, but said in the current environment, there’s really no choice but to keep them on.
“That’s why they’re in masks,” Homan said. “If you wanted the masks off, stop the hateful rhetoric against ICE officers.”

Homan is a chicken sh_t clown, but you know that. He will have his goons take off their masks if we trade in our First Amendment right. Nope. What a knucklehead coward.

Correa ‘made him pay’
The headline is misleading. It makes it look like a Carlos Correa quote. Nope. Here is the deal. In the fifth inning of yesterday’s game with the Red Sox, Sox pitcher Garrett Crochet plunked Yordan Alvarez. Two batters later, Carlos Correa launched a three-run dinger over the Crawford Boxes.
Here is from the Chron:
“You always hate to see your best hitter get drilled like that,” Correa said. “Alvarez was obviously pretty upset after that couple pitches almost hit him. You take it a little extra special when it’s like that.”
Correa tossed his bat to the ground, too. He stared toward his own dugout and nodded.
“Carlos made him pay,” (Astros Manager Joe) Espada said. “That’s what happened — Carlos made him pay.”
I guess the Chron headline writers intentionally put up this deceptive headline for clicks, or something like that. They need to be better.
