50 Days
From the Trib on the latest news on tacos:
“The First Lady apologizes that her words conveyed anything but pure admiration and love for the Latino community,” her spokesperson, Michael LaRosa, said in a tweet.
Apology accepted.

Yesterday afternoon, we were sickened, saddened, stunned, outraged, and shocked when we went online to check out the Uvalde Robb Elementary hallway video.
Local Uvalde leaders and state officials were upset that the video was leaked before the families of the victims could view them. Somebody needs to tell these clowns that the public has lost all confidence on how they have handled the investigation and everything else related to the massacre.
It has been 50 days of misinformation, finger pointing, hiding the ball, ineptness, and excuses.
Nice work Austin American Statesman and KVUE TV.

Sen. Cancun Cruz called the January 6 Committee hearings a kangaroo court. I don’t know about that. The evidence presented for the most part by GOP officials is solid. It has been on television for all to see.
Remember when Cassidy Hutchingson testified and conservative news outlets immediately said Secret Service agents would swear under oath that she was wrong. Silence.
Donald Trump lost the election. By a lot. Most of the folks who worked for him told him he lost. Trump ignored them and listened to the crazies who wanted him to bring in the military.
The next hearing will be on prime time.

Today in the H-Town area we are celebrating 713 day – you know, July 13. I found this online:
The area code system was developed by AT&T and Bell Laboratories in the 1940’s and went into effect in 1947. It was called the North American Numbering Plan (NANP) and included the United States and Canada.
In 1947, Texas was assigned 4 area codes. 214, 512, 713 and 915.
Now you know.

We won last night. 57-29. 9-2 in July.
