That is 18. The Astros have now tossed 18 no-nos. Last night it was a combined no-hitter against the Rangers in Arlington. Six no-hit innings by starter Tatsuya Imai, one from Steven Okert, and two from Alimber Santa, in his first MLB game ever.  That is now five combined no-hitters for the Astros. That is 18 no-hitters in Astros history. Christian Vázquez caught last night’s no-no. He also caught the Astros combined no-no against the Phillies in the 2022 World Series.

The Dodgers lead MLB with 26 no-hitters, followed by the White Sox with 20. The Astros, Cubbies, Giants and Red Sox are tied for third with 18 no-nos.  Our 18 is the most impressive. We started in the MLB in 1962. The Dodgers, White Sox, Cubbies, Giants and Red Sox have been in MLB since the turn of the 20th century. See the featured photo.

Oh, yeah. We won last night 9-0 and now sit at 24-31.

That is all I have. Go vote today, please.
